You may be asking yourself, how does a bilingual CDA training program help my career? How long do these trainings last? What trainings are offered? If these questions are going through your head, Magic Garden Foundation is here to put your mind at ease. We’ve answered some of our most commonly asked questions about our program. What kind of training do you offer?

We offer mainly classes in Spanish, our “classes menu” covers the CDA Subject areas.
Not only does Magic Garden Foundation offer CDA certifications, but we offer BILINGUAL CDA certifications. We prefer to teach our trainings in Spanish, but we can also teach classes in English if that’s what our students are more comfortable speaking.

Do the classes offered by will help me to obtain my certification as a Child Development Associate? (CDA)

Yes! Our curricular content has been design to complain the National Credentialing Program required by the Council for Professional Recognition located in Washington, D.C

Do these classes qualify the DHS training requirements?

Yes, Magic Garden Foundation classes qualify with Minnesota’s Department of Human Services.

Are you certified by an association?

Yes, our trainers have been certified by the Minnesota Center for Professional Development (MNCPD).

How can I start working to obtain my CDA certification?

Does this program offer volunteer/internship opportunities?

Yes, there are internship programs. Magic Garden Foundation has had interns from Hennepin Technical College and we are happy to have more students from other schools doing their internship. We are also willing to receive volunteers who wish to acquire experience in the childhood education field at one of the centers of Jardín Spanish Immersion Academy.

Do classes include support to complete CDA my Professional Portfolio?

Yes, our instructor helps the students to complete their CDA Professional Portfolio in Spanish.

Does Magic Garden Foundation develop special classes for Day Care Centers?

Yes, following Magic Garden Foundation’ mission we develop special classes for Immersion Spanish/Bilingual Day Care Centers that need their staff to be trained in Spanish.
